Simple and straightforward
Salarium Employee Self Service (ESS) is a platform that Salarium provides its customer’s employees a centralized tool that allows them to seamlessly clock in and out, check their payslips, file their leaves, and monitor their attendances.
Redesign objectives
Redesigning of the Salarium ESS was to apply UI/UX trends to modernize the web app’s look, enhance its personality by allowing it to have a friendlier tone and voice, and to allow for easy scalability of the design to cater to expansion of features and modules.
Working closely with the Product team and the company’s own HR department, I was able to gather notes and ideas for improvement to then apply when redesigning.
Design Process
The process went from assessing the existing design, gathering comments from product team and internal HR department, to creating lo-fi wireframes, and then translating them to hi-fi mockups to be then checked and verified by the Product team and the further higher management for approvals.
